Tatiana was born May 29,1897. She weighed 8 pounds and 52
centimeters. She was named after a main character in the book Eugene Onegin. Nickolas worte in his diary: "...Tatiana seems
to us understandably, a very beautiful child. She has dark and large eyes. She is constantly in good humor and allows herself
to cry only once a day, this happens, without fail, after her bath, when they feed her. The cossacks, solders and negroes
are her best friends and she greets them all as she goes down the corridor." Tatiana was always interested in jewelry and
dresses throughout her life. Her and Olga became good friends and were know as the big pair while Marie and Anastasia became
known as the little pair. Marie, Anastasia, and Alexi called her the governess. She was very good at art like her sisters.
She gave Pierre Gilliard the impression that she was prettier than Olga but he thought she was less transparent, frank, and
spontaneuos. When the war started her Alexandra, olga , Tatiana became nurses. She did a great job in helping the wounded
soilders and barely got to eat. Sometimes she didnt eat at all. And when the revolution came she was very brave even when
she got very sick. She died at the age of 21 when she died.
